Virgilio Burni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Lalla went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 10 played minutes Washington FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Ondino. Guillermo Montay struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Amancio Endura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Washington FC. In the 16th minute, Necol AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcial Navarro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th minute, Washington FC's Guillermo Montay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amancio Endura. Amancio Endura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Marcial Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Virgilio Burni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Necol AFC's Amancio Endura got control of the ball when Marcial Navarro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marcial Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Montay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Amancio Endura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Guillermo Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amancio Endura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Montay in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute Prospero Lalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute, Prospero Lalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Endura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Montay in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Necol AFC's zone, Marcial Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Endura came out of the goal and Marcial Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Washington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Osmundo came free, but Virgilio Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Delmar Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Necol AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Osmundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Burni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Washington FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Burni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Lalla. Virgilio Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Osmundo in the 75th minute of the match. Delmar Osmundo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Lalla got free with Virgilio Burni in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 minutes, Higinio Castel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Washington FC and the Necol AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Washington FC's Higinio Castel got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Necol AFC's Delmar Osmundo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 90 minutes of play, Washington FC's Guillermo Montay made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Endura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Washington FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
