Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alejandro Gelmiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Carlos Ekaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Salseros FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Felipe Gilen hit a great ball. Santo Cresconios short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Venancio Giraldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Salseros FC's zone, Dé Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Giraldo came out of the goal and Dé Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Piorno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Dé Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salseros FC's Venancio Giraldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Carlos Ekaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Iraitz. Caleufú AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Ekaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute, Silvestre Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Rameriz, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Santo Cresconio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Venancio Giraldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25th minute of the match, Santo Cresconio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Venancio Giraldo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcial Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Santo Cresconio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Santo Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Venancio Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Santo Cresconio made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Giraldo. Salseros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The throw-in from Silvestre Eudoxio in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Caleufú AFC's Cayetano Rameriz. Dé Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Venancio Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dé Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Caleufú AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dé Trancoso couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Cresconio to make the kick off. Lisandro Dalmau hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Marcial Osoitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Venancio Giraldo. Salseros FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Venancio Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Carlos Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Iraitz having to interfere. Salseros FC were furious when Rigoberto Raymundo was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Salseros FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caleufú AFC:s goal. In the 88th minute, Lisandro Piorno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Caleufú AFC's Abel Belmiro got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Cresconio in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Giraldo saved Salseros FC from getting behind. Paulino Iraitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Ortzi in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes of play, Salseros FC's Lisandro Piorno made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Iraitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
