The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Leoncitos Jr CF got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Diagur. Hilario Cordearo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 卓迅沙. Leoncitos Jr CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zeledon Fanuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Fanuco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Maximino Pelagius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Leoncitos Jr CF booed when Egaña AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Tartalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Adan Lucila sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Egaña AFC's Maximino Pelagius didn't even have to move. Isidro Millan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Fanuco got free with Maximino Pelagius in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Zeledon Fanuco came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Leoncitos Jr CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Fanuco couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Maximino Diagur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Leoncitos Jr CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Egaña AFC were winning 0-1.

Leoncitos Jr CF's 卓迅沙 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Leoncitos Jr CF from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Ugutz in the 59th minute of the match. Domingos Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Pelagius having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Adan Lucila had to leave the field with a concussion. 63 minutes into the game, Jairo Librado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egaña AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leoncitos Jr CF the free kick. Jairo Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Fanuco in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Pelagius saved Egaña AFC from getting behind. Maximino Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Fanuco in the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Maximino Diagur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leoncitos Jr CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Diagur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zeledon Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Pelagius having to interfere. Maximino Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Fanuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Zeledon Fanuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leoncitos Jr CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Fanuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 卓迅沙 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Librado in the 91st minute. When Domingos Ugutz fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leoncitos Jr CF's protests and gave Domingos Ugutz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Egaña AFC booed when Leoncitos Jr CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Ugutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egaña AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hilario Cordearo in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Egaña AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
