After 12 minutes of play, Monasterio AFC's Natalio Jurgi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Peter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clodoveo Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Gaueko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Monasterio AFC booed when Simbol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Monasterio AFC's zone, Cristian Oihenarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Elizardo came out of the goal and Cristian Oihenarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Selmo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Cristian Oihenarte came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Simbol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Oihenarte couldn't finish the play. The referee gave Simbol FC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aquiles Benet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Monasterio AFC's Teo Elizardo. 1-1. Leon Liher struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Teo Elizardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simbol FC. The supporters of Simbol FC booed when Monasterio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Gaueko kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Simbol FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Osvaldo Neto hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Leon Liher got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Teo Elizardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Oihenarte went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Felix Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Clodoveo Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Liher in the 70th minute of play. When Monasterio AFC's Natalio Jurgi in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Clodoveo Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Obano in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Simbol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. When Monasterio AFC's Felix Gaueko, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Monasterio AFC. Leonides Cordara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. One of Simbol FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monasterio AFC:s goal. The referee gave Monasterio AFC a penalty, 94 minutes into the game.
