Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Angel Henry kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ovidio Osoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pescadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Osoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Vergaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Calvino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abel Eufrasio, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Ovidio Osoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Vergaray was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Pescadores's Abel Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Bautista in the 13th minute of play. Emanuel Gauekos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Abel Eufrasio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 23 minutes, Emanuel Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saguión's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Gaueko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Pescadores's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Bautista came free, but Abel Eufrasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel Henry struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Alberto Vergaray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pescadores. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Angel Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pescadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Vergaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Gaueko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Abel Eufrasio made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Saguión's Froilan Bautista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Eufrasio. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. In the 42nd match minute, Pescadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Saguión's Silvano Hurko broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Froilan Bautista made the kick off in the second half. Abel Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Pescadores's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Gaueko came free, but Abel Eufrasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes, Saguión's Honorio Rafel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abel Eufrasio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saguión reached it. In the 64th minute, Ovidio Osoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Vergaray was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to Pescadores getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Angel Henry hit a great ball. Saguión's Emanuel Gaueko got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Froilan Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Steven charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Steven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute Roman Perutxo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Quinito during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgardo Quinito hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Tobias Pelayo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 92 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ovidio Osoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pescadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Osoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Vergaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pescadores's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
