Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) MAERS FC's Baltasar Hartz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Saguión's goalkeeper Alberto Vergaray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Hartz. A collision led to MAERS FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sixto Galtero hit a great ball. German Sedeni charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Sedeni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MAERS FC booed when Saguión was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Sedeni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Baltasar Hartz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Vergaray skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Emanuel Gaueko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saguión's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAERS FC the free kick. Emanuel Gaueko kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Inocencio Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Calvino in the 16th minute of play. Saguión's Alberto Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Hartz in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Saguión defense, Baltasar Hartz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Vergaray. The Saguión fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Vergaray should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in MAERS FC's zone, Froilan Bautista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Inge came out of the goal and Froilan Bautista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, MAERS FC's Baltasar Hartz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Vergaray. Alberto Vergaray yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 40th minute, Ole-Johan Lofthus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Gaueko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Inge having to make a save. Ole-Johan Lofthus hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Froilan Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Inge having to interfere. Inocencio Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

58 minutes into the match, Baltasar Hartz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Vergaray. Saguión's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Hartz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Baltasar Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Vergaray having to interfere. German Sedeni hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Inocencio Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Alvaro Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmacio Calvino during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saguión's Dalmacio Calvino got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Gaueko got free with Inocencio Inge in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. German Sedeni got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 78th match minute, Saguión was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Sedeni to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes of play, MAERS FC's Sixto Galtero made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Vergaray was left in no man's land by his defense there! During the 83rd minute of the match Dalmacio Calvino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dalmacio Calvino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 84th minute, Dalmacio Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Saguión's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Hartz came free, but Alberto Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Vergaray having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Sixto Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Hartz in the 96th minute of play forced Saguión's goalkeeper Alberto Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MAERS FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
