Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lázaro Dubardo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Isaias Ixidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Cordarius in the 3rd minute of the match. Antonio Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Joel Senin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaias Ixidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Medina's Nestor Socorro got a free kick in the 10th minute. Delmar Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lázaro Dubardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Santos Micael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20th play minutes Mariano Ticho shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Santos Micael and just under the crossbar into goal. A hard, long distance shot from Saturnino Gabrio flew over the goal. After 31 played minutes Favorina FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Casado. Zeledon Vellito, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Manuel Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Ixidor having to interfere. Mariano Ticho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Micael having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmar Cordarius to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Artemio Barto put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Medina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Favorina FC:s goal. Favorina FC's Delmar Cordarius was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 60th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Joel Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Cordarius struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Isaias Ixidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Favorina FC. Santos Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Ticho in the 67th minute of play. Manuel Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Zeledon Vellito, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Joel Senin in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isaias Ixidor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joel Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Medina got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Socorro. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Medina's goalkeeper Isaias Ixidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Delmar Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Isaias Ixidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Medina's Isaias Ixidor got control of the ball when Joel Senin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Medina's Saturnino Gabrio got a free kick in the 97th minute. Favorina FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
