Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albano Cordeiro started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Albano Cordeiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 5th minute, Vladimiro Gudesteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 6 minutes, Albano Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Codihué FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Palmarcito FC's Claudio Tartalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Hever narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albano Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Phelipe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Tartalo in the 16th minute of play forced Codihué FC's goalkeeper Hugo Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Claudio Tartalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmarcito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Tartalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Claudio Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Marcelino Lorenz could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Everardo Phelipe however easily saved by the left post. After 27 minutes, Baldomero Esiquio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Codihué FC and the Palmarcito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Codihué FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Baldomero Esiquio hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Codihué FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Tartalo came free, but Hugo Hever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Lorenz struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Everardo Phelipe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Codihué FC. In the 35th minute, Albano Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Codihué FC's Baldomero Esiquio got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Baldomero Esiquio off the ground. A collision led to Codihué FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Baldomero Esiquio hit a great ball. If Benigno Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Tartalo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Palmarcito FC's Benito Urdin got a free kick in the 56th minute. Palmarcito FC's Everardo Phelipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Lorenz in the 58th minute of play. Palmarcito FC's Claudio Tartalo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Abilio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Hever having to make a save. Jacinto Tximitx kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Claudio Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Claudio Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Navarro in the 81st minute of play forced Palmarcito FC's goalkeeper Everardo Phelipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Gudesteo charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Gudesteo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vladimiro Gudesteo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Codihué FC's Gustavo Mikeldi in action when he in the 86th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Codihué FC's Hugo Hever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Codihué FC from getting a goal against them. Everardo Phelipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Lorenz in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Palmarcito FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
