The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Clucellas AFC's Gualterio Truylos fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. After 34 played minutes Medinas got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Seguinus. Andres Niva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Fagildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Remigio Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Seguinus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Lia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Ruben Sauveur fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Filomeno Lia, passed just outside the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Gualterio Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Niva having to interfere. If Ruben Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Ruben Sauveur notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Clucellas AFC's Filomeno Lia. Filomeno Lia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Ruben Sauveur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Lia. Clucellas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Sauveur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Agustin Arnalt kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Teobaldo Boni, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Urritz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clucellas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medinas the free kick. In the 74th minute of the match Teobaldo Boni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Lia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 76th minute Ambrosio Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gualterio Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Seguinus hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ruben Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Lia having to interfere. Andres Niva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Truylos in the 90th minute of the match. Ambrosio Orlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Filomeno Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Ruben Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Sauveur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaldo Urritz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Boni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Medinas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
