The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fassi AFC's Bruno Euloxu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Mikolas charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Mikolas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Campos FC booed when Fassi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejo Sugar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Emenon having to interfere. Igor Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Lucero having to interfere.

In the 67th minute, Julio Fernanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Alejo Sugar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fassi AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Raimundo Emenon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Euloxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Pablo Che hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campos FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Emenon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Fassi AFC's Herminio Lucero got control of the ball when German Hitzeder tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, German Hitzeder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herminio Lucero. The goal made the score 1-2. Campos FC's Raimundo Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Euloxu in the 91st minute of play. Raimundo Emenon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Euloxu's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When Bruno Euloxu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Fassi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Euloxu couldn't finish the play. In the 97th match minute, Campos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. Fassi AFC were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Campos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Pepillo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Fassi AFC's corner Jose Pepillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raimundo Emenon quite easily take care of the ball. The Fassi AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Campos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Campos FC.
