Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Saturnino Flor took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Katia in the 4th minute of play forced Quilmes FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Quexal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Candido Katia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnulfo Quexal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Ismiango AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Angelino Gabon hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Quilmes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Katia came free, but Arnulfo Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quilmes FC's Ariel Sauveur got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Candido Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Candido Katia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Quexal was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The supporters of Ismiango AFC booed when Quilmes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismiango AFC's Candido Katia managed to work through Quilmes FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Candido Katia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 41st minute, Candido Katia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnulfo Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Sauveur made a kick off. After 66 minutes Quilmes FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clemente Mikolas who took care of the corner kick. Silvano Chayo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Ismiango AFC's Saturnino Flor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Quexal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Candido Katia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Roderigo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Quilmes FC's Arnulfo Quexal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Flor in the 79th minute of play. When Candido Katia came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ismiango AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Katia couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Quilmes FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Quexal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Katia. After 83 played minutes Quilmes FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Dalmu. Saturnino Flor struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Arnulfo Quexal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ismiango AFC.
