Gnecco's Jeremias Sindo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Astor Reyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermegildo Frichoso went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Astor Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Frichoso in the 36th minute of the match. Artemio Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Dominic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Dominic made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Artemio Isias sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Frichoso made a kick off. Jeremias Sindo scored 0-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Reyes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Sindo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Astor Reyes 60 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes, Gnecco's Maximiliano Serapio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Astor Reyes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gnecco reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Frichoso in the 71st minute of play forced Andalhualá's goalkeeper Astor Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Reyes having to interfere. If Jeremias Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Frichoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Endura during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gnecco's Octavio Endura got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 81st minute of the match Americo Gines shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Dominic showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Gnecco's Claudio Loco got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ermegildo Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astor Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Frichoso in the 93rd minute of play.
