Conrado Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Godfredo Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Julian Crescencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Crescencio in the 23rd minute of play. Artemio Isias took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Garaona. Godfredo Garaona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Astor Reyes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Justino Etxeberri. Gaudencio Fraco kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Andalhualá's Astor Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Crescencio in the 36th minute of play. Camilo Abechuco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Astor Reyes made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Andalhualá were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Peña FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Americo Gines took the corner. Andalhualá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Isias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Crescencio in the 65th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Andalhualá got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Fraco. 67 minutes into the match, Andalhualá's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Crescencio came free, but Astor Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Andalhualá's Artemio Isias made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there!
