If Siro Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Melquiades Quirce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benavides's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Quirce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Benavides's zone, Virgilio Endira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Txilar came out of the goal and Virgilio Endira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Endira got in the 26th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anselmo Txilar handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. With his leg Anselmo Txilar managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Mosmota AFC's Virgilio Endira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Danel during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilfredo Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Hernan Gombal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Siro Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Bartoli having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Tobias Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Mosmota AFC's German Urti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Simon Abeijon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Txilar having to make a save. After the first half Benavides were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mosmota AFC's Tobias Bartoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Mosmota AFC from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the game, Mosmota AFC's Virgilio Endira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Txilar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Simon Abeijon struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Anselmo Txilar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosmota AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Simon Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosmota AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Txilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
