Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Palmitas AFC's Fulgencio Elorri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Virgilio Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simon Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Abeijon in the 16th minute of the match. Simon Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Umea having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Elorri in the 21st minute of play forced Mosmota AFC's goalkeeper Tobias Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Elorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Remicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tobias Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Endira, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Simon Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Humberto Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas AFC's zone, Simon Abeijon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Umea came out of the goal and Simon Abeijon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wilfredo Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Bartoli didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Melquiades Remicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tobias Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mosmota AFC's zone, Fulgencio Elorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Bartoli came out of the goal and Fulgencio Elorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Lisandro Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Tiso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tobias Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Remicio in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Elorri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Bartoli was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Humberto Umea came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Mosmota AFC's Wilfredo Danel. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Danel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 84th minute, Simon Abeijon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Elorri in the 86th minute of play. Adriana Naldo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Melquiades Remicio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Fulgencio Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmitas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Elorri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Bartoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Palmitas AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
