After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Santos Ixidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachueta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Ixidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Lehoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Gonsalve's late challenge caught a Cachueta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After 15 played minutes Chivas FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Gonsalve. Ignacio Jerano struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Bonifacio Lehoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachueta AFC. After 25 played minutes, Cachueta AFC's Arturo Janpier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bonifacio Lehoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachueta AFC reached it. After 34 played minutes, Cachueta AFC's Domingos Jurdan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bonifacio Lehoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachueta AFC reached it. 40 minutes into the game, Americo Maxin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachueta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chivas FC the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Cachueta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Maxin to maneuver through the defense. Leo Artaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ignacio Jerano made the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Llin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cachueta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Ixidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Ixidor in the 84th minute of play forced Chivas FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Lehoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Jerano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Guillermo Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Jerano in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Lehoi saved Chivas FC from getting behind.
