An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Perfecto in the 4th minute of play forced Capilla's goalkeeper Inocencio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Dei having to interfere. Apolo Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Apolo Pirmin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Dei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Patricio Lauro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Inocencio Shepherd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Capilla's zone, Patricio Lauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Shepherd came out of the goal and Patricio Lauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Froila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Primitivo Donio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Dei having to interfere. Primitivo Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Apolo Pirmin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Dei was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Primitivo Donio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Perfecto in the 53rd minute of play forced Capilla's goalkeeper Inocencio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Leizarraga's late challenge caught a Capilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Leizarraga helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Leizarraga hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Apolo Pirmin made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Dei. Tusaquilla AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Apolo Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Patricio Lauro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tusaquilla AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Capilla getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Apolo Pirmin hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Patricio Lauro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tusaquilla AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Capilla were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
