With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Quintin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 7 played minutes Saturnino Burni rounded Correas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Correas's zone, Edgardo Loreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Xabat came out of the goal and Edgardo Loreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Loreto struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Apolo Xabat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barborín. Saturnino Burni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Xabat having to interfere. Edgardo Loreto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Apolo Xabat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Loreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Edgardo Loreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Correas's Apolo Xabat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Moise charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Moise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Moise kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Mauro Primeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Primeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Burni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Xabat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Saturnino Burni might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Xabat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Burni ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Barborín's Apolo Xabat threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgardo Loreto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Primeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Silban kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Saturnino Burni scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Xabat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Braulio Rencio came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Barborín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Rencio couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Burni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Xabat having to interfere. Barborín's Angel Quintin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Barborín from getting a goal against them. If Mauro Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Correas! Saturnino Burni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Apolo Xabat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Correas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barborín.
