Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Virgilio Iratxo made the kick off which started today's match. If Virgilio Iratxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Humberto Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Gurutz took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Richie. Silvestre Richie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Club America's Silvestre Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Vellito in the 31st minute of play. After 33 minutes, Lucas Vellito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carbo AFC and the Club America players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carbo AFC's Lucas Vellito got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Raimundo Baldovino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Uriel Nayely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club America's zone, Guido Dolfos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Richie came out of the goal and Guido Dolfos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Orlando Gurutz made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Club America's Silvestre Richie got control of the ball when Guido Dolfos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guido Dolfos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Silvestre Richie made a huge save. Silvestre Richie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Vellito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Dolfos got free with Silvestre Richie in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Andres Eron in the 62nd minute really tested Silvestre Richie's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 63 played minutes Club America got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Berbiz. The supporters of Carbo AFC booed when Club America was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Cugat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Nayely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Iratxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Carbo AFC defense, Virgilio Iratxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Nayely. The Carbo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Nayely should have stopped the shot. Uriel Nayely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Iratxo in the 79th minute of play. If Lucas Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute Orlando Gurutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Richie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Guido Dolfos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvestre Richie. Guido Dolfos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The Carbo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carbo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
