Tastil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Baumar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caballa's goalkeeper Ernesto Gutierrez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1-0 became the score in the 17th minute when Sergio Baumar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With his leg Ernesto Gutierrez managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Tastil FC's Sergio Baumar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dario Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Admon in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Edgard Ekhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Vicente Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Tastil FC defense, Edgard Ekhi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Ekhi. The Tastil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Ekhi should have stopped the shot. German Vela hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Fernando Iztal might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Gutierrez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Iztal ran back to his position shaking his head.

Dario Ekhi made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Orlando Admon sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Baumar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ernesto Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fernando Iztal fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tastil FC's protests and gave Fernando Iztal a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Iztal hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alfonso Evis's late challenge caught a Caballa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Evis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tastil FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alfonso Evis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Edgard Ekhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballa's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Ekhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Ekhi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Ekhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Sergio Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Iztal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Gutierrez having to interfere. When Sergio Baumar came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Tastil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Baumar couldn't finish the play. Edgard Ekhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute, Gervasio Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Iztal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Sergio Baumar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
