With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damazy Jenkot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Lucas Tebaldo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Damazy Jenkot, 1-0. Hermengildo Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Jenkot having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
