Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Feliciano Froylan got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Alonso in the 5th minute of play forced Concepción's goalkeeper Abelardo Hustaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Nuno in the 10th minute of play forced Espinillos AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antonio Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Olayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Loren having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Stephen. With an all-out effort, Concepción's Mariano Loren threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antonio Nuno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Antonio Nuno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Concepción's Abelardo Hustaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Alonso in the 36th minute of play. When Antonio Nuno came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Nuno couldn't finish the play. Abelardo Hustaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Alonso in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Ciro Maraman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concepción and the Espinillos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Ciro Maraman got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Daniel Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Hustaz having to interfere. Daniel Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Abelardo Hustaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Nuno to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espinillos AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Loren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Espinillos AFC's Mariano Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Nuno in the 59th minute of play. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Olayo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Loren saved Espinillos AFC from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Concepción's goalkeeper Abelardo Hustaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Alonso. In the 84th minute, Daniel Alonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Feliciano Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Joaquin Mede left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espinillos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
