Severo Aztore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Joey having to interfere. A collision led to Aguilas FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arturo Maule hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Faustino Mancio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquilino Pancho skillfully saved the ball. Aquilino Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Erruki, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tehuelches AFC's zone, Adan Iraunkor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Pancho came out of the goal and Adan Iraunkor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Aztore in the 28th minute of play forced Aguilas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tehuelches AFC's Honorio Crispo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Carlos Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Tipi went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute Severo Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Tehuelches AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Erruki to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Iztal during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Aaron Iztal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adan Iraunkor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Aguilas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Qwinton to maneuver through the defense. Tehuelches AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Peyo in the 73rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Romeo Goren heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 75 played minutes Aguilas FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Peli. Lucas Peyo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Orlando Erruki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Aguilas FC booed when Tehuelches AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Orlando Erruki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguilas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tehuelches AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
