Belén FC's Felipe Lohitzun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Belén FC from getting a goal against them. Celestino Peio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Felipe Lohitzun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Bilbo in the 19th minute. Gonzalo Estevez took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Ekialde. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belén FC's goalkeeper Felipe Lohitzun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Club Guadalajara getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bruno Abarca hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Antonio Bixintxo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacinto Ekialde. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacinto Ekialde, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Antonio Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Antonio Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Belén FC booed when Club Guadalajara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jacinto Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Guadalajara's zone, Gonzalo Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Ekialde came out of the goal and Gonzalo Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Guadalajara's Siro Iturri got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belén FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
