Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Desiderio Rosio took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Apolo Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Ciceron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dante Ciceron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Quilmes FC's Carmelo Elizardo in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sauce FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 24 minutes, Amancio Urbes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauce FC and the Quilmes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sauce FC's Amancio Urbes got a free kick in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Sauce FC's Delmar Gabirel got control of the ball when Benito Caradaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Desiderio Rosio came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Sauce FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Rosio couldn't finish the play. Sauce FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Carmelo Elizardo scored to the left of an out of position Delmar Gabirel, making the score, 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmelo Elizardo to make the kick off. When Quilmes FC's Carmelo Elizardo in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Sauce FC defense, Benito Caradaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmar Gabirel. The Sauce FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmar Gabirel should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Quilmes FC's zone, Apolo Basajaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Ciceron came out of the goal and Apolo Basajaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, Sauce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Neron to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Sauce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Caradaro came free, but Delmar Gabirel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Neron charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Neron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quilmes FC booed when Sauce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Neron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Gabirel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Elizardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Benito Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Delmar Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benito Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Carmelo Elizardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quilmes FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
