Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a little luck, Quilmes FC's Dante Ciceron got control of the ball when Atilano Lizbeth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmelo Elizardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Bartoli having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Marcelo Che managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilcomayo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Che was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilano Lizbeth scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Ciceron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Quilmes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Che came free, but Dante Ciceron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Chumo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Chumo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Roque Donio's late challenge caught a Pilcomayo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Quilmes FC booed when Pilcomayo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Elizardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Bartoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Carmelo Elizardo made the kick off in the second half. Donato Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Caradaro in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pilcomayo AFC's zone, Benito Caradaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Bartoli came out of the goal and Benito Caradaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Urbasa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Quilmes FC's Carmelo Elizardo in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dante Ciceron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4.
