The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Gomez was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Eliu in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Dalmai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necol's Niceto Vimaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Necol from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Augusto Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Dalmai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Guipuzkoa got free with Niceto Vimaro in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Victor Guipuzkoa came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Balcarce FC fans jumped to their feet.
