When Marcelo Truylos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 3 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luciano Santiago was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Godfredo Erlantz made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Lucio Oidor sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes in the game, Clemente Nesor fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Godfredo Erlantz having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Lucio Oidor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 14th match minute, DARK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Leoncio to maneuver through the defense. Godfredo Erlantz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Oidor in the 15th minute. Marcelo Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Santiago having to interfere. Sauce's Luciano Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Truylos in the 20th minute of play. Aurelio Frantzes's late challenge caught a Sauce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Frantzes helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Clemente Nesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sauce's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Nesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Erlantz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marcelo Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Truylos made a kick off. Juan Oriche's late challenge caught a DARK FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Oriche helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sauce's Juan Oriche got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Sauce's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Truylos came free, but Luciano Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind DARK FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Erlantz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sauce's Gervasio Cordario suffered a fractured collar bone after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. DARK FC's Justo Jaunti got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Justo Jaunti off the ground. The supporters of Sauce booed when DARK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Erlantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Oidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Gaskon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Erlantz was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When Marcelo Truylos came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the DARK FC fans jumped to their feet. DARK FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Frantzes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Sauce:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DARK FC:s goal. Sauce's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Marcelo Truylos scored to the left of an out of position Luciano Santiago, making the score, 1-2. The DARK FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
