Justo Beat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Marko in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Hurlingham's Adolfo Eneto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Justo Beat. Justo Beat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 17thth minute of the game Serban Nae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hurlingham's Agustin Senen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Cucao during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Justo Beat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Mikeldi in the 19th minute of the match. Cristian Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Senen having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Hurlingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Presebal to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serban Nae in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Senen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luciano Vermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Justo Beat was a little too slow when Adolfo Eneto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-2. 42 minutes into the match, América's goalkeeper Justo Beat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Chus. In the 45th minute, Serban Nae made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Senen. Hurlingham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After the first half América were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Marko was the one to do the kick off. When Silvestre Etxatxu came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. Agustin Senen made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Serban Nae sent off a good shot on target. Modesto Etxekopar lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The crowd rose to their feet as América's Baldomero Jayvier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Agustin Senen. That made the score 2-4 after 59 minutes of play. In the 64th minute, Evaristo Jerrald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Quin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. América's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Baldomero Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Eneto kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Celedonio Luzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes América got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Afonso. After 83 played minutes Hurlingham got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Mikeldi. Cristian Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Evaristo Jerrald came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Jerrald couldn't finish the play. If Silvestre Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Celedonio Luzea came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Luzea couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. América played a much better game than Hurlingham and deserved their victory. The Hurlingham players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
