When Ruben Sanduru came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Malanzán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Sanduru couldn't finish the play. Ruben Sanduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Enrique Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Malanzán's Ruben Sanduru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Celio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Ruben Sanduru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malanzán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th minute Ruben Sanduru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Celio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aurelio Oroitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Baristo in the 27th minute of play forced Malanzán's goalkeeper Ubaldo Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Campana FC's Santos Mano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Malanzán. In the 32nd minute of the match, Aurelio Oroitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ubaldo Inocente was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Malanzán booed when Campana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st play minute Aurelio Oroitz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ubaldo Inocente. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Baristo was the one to do the kick off. When Campana FC's Alfredo Baristo in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malanzán's goalie prevented a goal. After 55 played minutes Malanzán got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Rolado. The supporters of Malanzán booed when Campana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ruben Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Inocente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Oroitz in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Aurelio Oroitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Inocente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Celio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Sanduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ubaldo Inocente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Oroitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Celio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Sanduru in the 70th minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Campana FC's Alfredo Baristo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Inocente was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Calixto got free with Enrique Celio in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruben Sanduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Enrique Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Enrique Celio managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Malanzán's Joel Calixto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aurelio Oroitz struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ubaldo Inocente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campana FC. Ubaldo Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Baristo in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Oroitz in the 95th minute of play forced Malanzán's goalkeeper Ubaldo Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malanzán's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
