The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Inocente got free with Elias Virila in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Virila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Elazar in the 10th minute of the match. If Ariel Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ifrán AFC's Elias Virila got control of the ball when Ivan Inocente tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 24 played minutes Ifrán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Romelio. Atilano Raymon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Ivan Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Elazar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Elias Virila 29 minutes into the match. Alfonso Orzaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Santana having to interfere. Alfonso Orzaize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Benicio Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Loren during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Ifrán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Loren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Inocente in the 38th minute of play forced Ifrán AFC's goalkeeper Elias Virila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Severino Lesardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ifrán AFC booed when Loreto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Abechuco in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Elazar to make the kick off. Jacobo Izotz tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Elias Virila. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 53rd minute. Elias Virila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alfonso Orzaize managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ifrán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Orzaize was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Orzaize got free with Benicio Santana in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Elazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Virila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Nicolas Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Santana having to interfere. When Edelmiro Etxatxu fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ifrán AFC's protests and gave Edelmiro Etxatxu a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobo Izotz charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
