The attack was good, but when Ladislao Javiero in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Ladislao Javiero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Fortun hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Acostilla AFC's Rafael Tristan tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Edelmiro Bermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edelmiro Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edelmiro Bermudo to make the kick off. A collision led to Acostilla AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Benjamin Rosio hit a great ball. Prospero Cloyo had several of the Lafontaine FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Celestino Basajaun as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 83rd minute of the game, Ciro Lazcano landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 83 minutes, Rogelio Fortun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lafontaine FC and the Acostilla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute of the match Rafael Tristan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Basajaun skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th minute, Lafontaine FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Prospero Cloyo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Prospero Cloyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Acostilla AFC's Prospero Cloyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celestino Basajaun narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
