Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mesada AFC's Justino Domeka started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvestre Bertin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Cheche when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gabriel Cheche made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Silvestre Bertin sent off a good shot on target. Justino Domeka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Cidro having to interfere. Justino Domeka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Corzuela getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eustacio Urtun hit a great ball. Victorio Hondo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Isaac Maxin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Cidro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Jairo Cidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Maxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Isaac Maxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Maxin might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Cidro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Maxin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Isaac Maxin came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Mesada AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Maxin couldn't finish the play. If Generoso Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Cheche having to interfere. Mesada AFC's Gabriel Cheche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Mesada AFC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Corzuela's zone, Isaac Maxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Cidro came out of the goal and Isaac Maxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Generoso Ponc made the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Ponc in the 52nd minute of play. Corzuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mesada AFC the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Corzuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Ponc to maneuver through the defense. Justino Domeka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Cidro having to make a save. If Silvestre Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eustacio Urtun's late challenge caught a Mesada AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Urtun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Corzuela's Eustacio Urtun got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Isaac Maxin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 74th minute, Corzuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isaac Maxin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jairo Cidro made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Isaac Maxin sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Isaac Maxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Corzuela's zone, Isaac Maxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Cidro came out of the goal and Isaac Maxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Ferrer during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ernesto Ferrer hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Justino Domeka took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jairo Cidro to make any attempt to save it. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
