When Genaro Bartuelo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Galpones AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Bartuelo couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Fraco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Frantzes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Genaro Bartuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Mario Frantzes made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Galpones AFC's Carmelo Paskal got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Galpones AFC's Fausto Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Faro in the 23rd minute of play. Igor Asur's late challenge caught a Carrodilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Asur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Galpones AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Asur to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Faro in the 27th minute of play forced Galpones AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genaro Bartuelo was the one to do the kick off. If Jairo Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Galpones AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Olivar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Cucao. In the 61st minute, Julian Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carrodilla's Domingos Tab couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Galpones AFC. Jairo Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Cucao got free with Fausto Olivar in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Galpones AFC's Carmelo Paskal got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Hernan Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Cucao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Fausto Olivar made a huge save. Carrodilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Domingos Tab in the 76th minute. The corner ended in Domingos Tab almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galpones AFC's Fausto Olivar did a great save. Genaro Bartuelo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrodilla's goalkeeper Mario Frantzes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Ladislao Cucao could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Fausto Olivar however easily saved by the left post. Jairo Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Olivar having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Ildefonso Baraquiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galpones AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Carrodilla had controlled the match.
