Maximino Daunte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Placido Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Poncio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Humberto Laurgain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción AFC. When Faustino Monte came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Concepción AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Monte couldn't finish the play. Faustino Monte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When %teams%'s Anibal Mirande was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 28 minutes into the game. Placido Esdras was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Faustino Monte struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Humberto Laurgain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción AFC. Anibal Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Rosendo Poncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceibalito AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fulgencio Isusko in the 46th minute. The corner ended in Fulgencio Isusko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Concepción AFC's Placido Esdras did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anibal Mirande to strike the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Ceibalito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Tiniebra to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Concepción AFC's goalkeeper Placido Esdras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Faustino Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concepción AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Monte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Laurgain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Poncio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Laurgain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ceibalito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Poncio came free, but Humberto Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Concepción AFC booed when Ceibalito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Frasquito didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Faustino Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes of play, Ceibalito AFC's Maximino Daunte made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Esdras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ceibalito AFC's Humberto Laurgain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Ceibalito AFC from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Ceibalito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Tiniebra. With a little luck, Ceibalito AFC's Humberto Laurgain got control of the ball when Faustino Monte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rosendo Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ceibalito AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
