The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Bela during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Catamarca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Bela to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Catamarca AFC's Modesto Enetz got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Azeari in the 19th minute of play forced Juventus Academy's goalkeeper Silvestre Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Enetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Mingo having to interfere. Modesto Enetz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Silvestre Mingo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arturo Platon's late challenge caught a Catamarca AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Platon helped the player get up and apologised. Arturo Platon kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Catamarca AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Erasmo Bela hit a great ball. Catamarca AFC's Nemesio Ederono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Rosio in the 31st minute of play. Geronimo Ubelteso charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Ubelteso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 32 minutes into the game, one of Catamarca AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 36th match minute, Juventus Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Frederico to maneuver through the defense. Catamarca AFC's attack was well implemented in the 37th minute, but when Modesto Enetz was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 40th minute Nestor Frederico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Ederono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Urtsua struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Nemesio Ederono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus Academy. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Azeari to make the kick off. Catamarca AFC's Nemesio Ederono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Catamarca AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 54 minutes, Rafael Mateo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Mateo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Catamarca AFC's zone, Silvano Rosio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Ederono came out of the goal and Silvano Rosio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Mateo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rafael Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Ederono having to interfere. A collision led to Juventus Academy getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Armando Urtsua hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Juventus Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Azeari came free, but Silvestre Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Juventus Academy's Silvano Rosio in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catamarca AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Nemesio Ederono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Juventus Academy's Silvestre Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Enetz in the 92nd minute of play. Juventus Academy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
