Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cayetano Efren got the match started through his kick off. Cayetano Efren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evaristo Lonzos short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Geronimo Herensuge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Geronimo Herensuge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Evaristo Lonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Lonzo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Geronimo Herensuge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 31 minutes in the game, Evaristo Lonzo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Geronimo Herensuge having to interfere. Roberto Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Limache's Geronimo Herensuge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Alonso in the 35th minute of play. Fabio Paulin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Lapurdi's late challenge caught a Limache's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Lapurdi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Naicó's Anselmo Lapurdi got a free kick in the 39th minute. Limache's Cayetano Efren got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naicó's Roberto Alonso got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Roberto Alonso made the kick off in the second half. Limache's Geronimo Herensuge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Alonso in the 53rd minute of play. Fabio Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Martin Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Herensuge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Alonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Naicó's goalkeeper Martin Bizen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Paulin. Geronimo Herensuge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Lonzo in the 66th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Domingos Ilixo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Naicó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Cayetano Efren came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Limache fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Efren couldn't finish the play. If Cayetano Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roberto Alonso came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Naicó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Alonso couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
