With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Alonso in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Fiz saved Galenos from getting behind. Angelo Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Martin Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Galenos's Benito Gaitano got a free kick in the 18th minute. Guillermo Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Angelo Tartalo sped through Naicó's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Bizen. The supporters of Galenos booed when Naicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Evaristo Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Fiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Galenos's Guillermo Musko made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Bizen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the game, Melchor Lugo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galenos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naicó the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Galenos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Lugo to maneuver through the defense. Benito Gaitano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Guillermo Musko struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Martin Bizen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galenos. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Tartalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Bizen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Musko's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Lonzo got free with Tadeo Fiz in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Tartalo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Martin Bizen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galenos. Guillermo Musko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Bizen having to make a save. Benito Gaitano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Guillermo Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Bizen having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Guillermo Musko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Melchor Lugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Musko in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Bizen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Bizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Musko, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Guillermo Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Bizen having to interfere. Galenos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
