Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicolas Fagondo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Mauricio Urtzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gastres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alsina the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gastres's Mauricio Urtzi got a free kick in the 4th minute. Dalmacio Kauldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Fagondo in the 5th minute of the match. Gastres's Dalmacio Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Fagondo in the 8th minute of play. Alsina's Gilberto Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Jurdan in the 10th minute of play. If Ovidio Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dalmacio Kauldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Fagondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gastres's zone, Gerardo Guillem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Kauldi came out of the goal and Gerardo Guillem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd match minute, Alsina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Tonio to maneuver through the defense. If Ovidio Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Calvino's late challenge caught a Alsina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Calvino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alsina booed when Gastres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alsina's Nestor Gregory couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gastres. Rosendo Sugoi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Gilberto Cayo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 35th minute, Nicolas Fagondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gastres's Dalmacio Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Guillem in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Alsina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rosendo Sugoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gilberto Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Jurdan in the 42nd minute of play. After 47 minutes, Ruperto Serafo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alsina and the Gastres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alsina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Jurdan was the one to do the kick off. Gerardo Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Kauldi having to interfere. Rosendo Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Cayo having to interfere. Nicolas Fagondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Matias Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Kauldi having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Alsina got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Baraquiel. Rosendo Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gilberto Cayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amancio Tonio during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amancio Tonio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Rosendo Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Nicolas Fagondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Fagondo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ovidio Jurdan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Cayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Gilberto Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Jurdan in the 89th minute of play. Gerardo Guillem struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Dalmacio Kauldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alsina. After a defensive mix-up in Alsina's zone, Rosendo Sugoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Cayo came out of the goal and Rosendo Sugoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Alsina's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Sugoi came free, but Gilberto Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute, Rosendo Sugoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gastres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gastres's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
