Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ovidio Jurdan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Harald Blomfoss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Sugoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Tigres UANL's Iker Veto got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Marcelo Justin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tigres UANL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gastres the free kick. A collision led to Tigres UANL getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Marcelo Justin hit a great ball. Harald Blomfoss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Sugoi's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Dalmacio Kauldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Veto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Gastres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Asur to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Gastres's Hilario Calvino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hilario Calvino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gastres protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hilario Calvino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gastres! Rosendo Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Kauldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafin Iraunkor's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Serafin Iraunkor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Kauldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Dalmacio Kauldi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Serafin Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Kauldi having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Serafin Iraunkor came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Tigres UANL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Iraunkor couldn't finish the play. Iker Veto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Kauldi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Serafin Iraunkor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gastres's Dalmacio Kauldi. Dalmacio Kauldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Serafin Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes of play, Gastres's Rosendo Sugoi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harald Blomfoss was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Tigres UANL's Iker Veto in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gastres's goalie prevented a goal. Gastres's Dalmacio Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Veto in the 71st minute of play. Serafin Iraunkor might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmacio Kauldi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafin Iraunkor ran back to his position shaking his head. Harald Blomfoss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Sugoi in the 82nd minute. Iker Veto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dalmacio Kauldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Kauldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Iraunkor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes, Wilfredo Asur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gastres and the Tigres UANL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Wilfredo Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Serafin Iraunkor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigres UANL's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Iraunkor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Kauldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iker Veto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Kauldi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gastres's Wilfredo Asur got a free kick in the 95th minute. Dalmacio Kauldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Veto in the 96th minute of play. Gastres's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
