Alderetes were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Belo to make the kick off. Paulo Rubio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Neto's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Teodosio Belo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fabio Neto came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Vinalito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Neto couldn't finish the play. Fabio Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Rubio having to interfere. If Teodosio Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alderetes's Teodosio Belo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Teodosio Belo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alonzo Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Tristan took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Rubio. Paulo Rubio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
