A beautiful save bye Vikingos de Suecia's goalie prevented a goal. Severino Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Inocencio Oroitz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vikingos de Suecia's Silverio Telo. Silverio Telo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Retamito AFC's Alfonso Mergildo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Nemesio Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Inocencio Oroitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Telo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Severino Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jairo Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Severino Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikingos de Suecia's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Benet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Felipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tomas Matro came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Vikingos de Suecia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Matro couldn't finish the play. Vikingos de Suecia's Roberto Buinton got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Retamito AFC defense, Severino Benet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Felipo. The Retamito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Felipo should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Prudencio Gorbea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Retamito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikingos de Suecia the free kick. Vikingos de Suecia's Severino Benet got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Benet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severino Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Silverio Telo managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Retamito AFC's Inocencio Oroitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Vikingos de Suecia's zone, Inocencio Oroitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Telo came out of the goal and Inocencio Oroitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Retamito AFC's Jairo Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Benet in the 57th minute of play. Roberto Buinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Benet in the 66th minute of play. Jairo Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Matro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Felipo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Benet went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Severino Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Tomas Matro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverio Telo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Oroitz in the 81st minute. Severino Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Telo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Severino Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Matro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Felipo having to interfere. If Severino Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vikingos de Suecia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
