Arnaldo Ricart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 12th minute, Rivera AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amado Gilabert fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jimeno Playo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Ovando having to make a save. In the 18th match minute, Rivera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Rafel to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 24 in the game by Jimeno Playo from a close distance when the talented Modesto Ovando managed to make a qualified save. Rivera AFC's players were relieved. In the 25th minute, Nicasio Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Quinito in the 30th minute of play forced Escoipe's goalkeeper Arnaldo Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Amado Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escoipe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Gilabert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimeno Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Ovando having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Escoipe's Amado Gilabert got a free kick in the 39th minute. Arnaldo Ricart came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rivera AFC's Cosme Ignatius. But to his dismay, Cosme Ignatius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Escoipe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rivera AFC were winning 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jimeno Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escoipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Playo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Ovando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivera AFC's goalkeeper Modesto Ovando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amado Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Ovando having to interfere. Modesto Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Playo in the 61st minute of the match. In the 68th minute Amado Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Ricart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Ignatius in the 72nd minute. Arnaldo Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Quinito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Domiku kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Arnaldo Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 77th minute, Eustaquio Quinito made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Ricart. Escoipe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Playo in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Ovando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimeno Playo scored 1-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Ovando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimeno Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Ovando having to interfere. Fernando Lizar's late challenge caught a Escoipe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Lizar helped the player get up and apologised.
