The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Daniel Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Cipriano Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Harri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 11 minutes, Cosme Guib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italbate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Guib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Luzea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Guib in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Italbate's Casimiro Valente got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Carboni FC's Haroldo Emmanuel in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italbate's goalie prevented a goal. Reynaldo Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Harri in the 23rd minute of the match. Serafino Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Reynaldo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Italbate booed when Carboni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Kusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Abalos having to interfere. Cipriano Austin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Carboni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Quin came free, but Armando Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cipriano Austin fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carboni FC's protests and gave Cipriano Austin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Cipriano Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Haroldo Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 55th minute, Cosme Guib ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Luzea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 58 minutes into the match, Carboni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Guib came free, but Armando Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Italbate's Angelino Ferman got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Quin in the 67th minute of play forced Carboni FC's goalkeeper Armando Luzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Harri might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Abalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafino Harri ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafino Harri had several of the Italbate's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Reynaldo Abalos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Haroldo Emmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Reynaldo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Haroldo Emmanuel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Reynaldo Abalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reynaldo Abalos made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Haroldo Emmanuel sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Carboni FC defense, Daniel Quin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Luzea. The Carboni FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Luzea should have stopped the shot. Carboni FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
