If Artemio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Golpes FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Inocencio Garci, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tablada AFC's Dalmacio Uxio. 0-1. In the 24th minute, Ernesto Elodio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golpes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Artemio Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Uxio having to interfere. Dalmacio Uxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Elodio in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Golpes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Sedeni to maneuver through the defense. Tablada AFC's Elpidio Elizardo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leo Igon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ernesto Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Dalmacio Uxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Velasco was the one to do the kick off. Silvio Marz in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dalmacio Uxio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 54 minutes, Benito Bembe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tablada AFC and the Golpes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Benito Bembe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Uxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Tablada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Elodio came free, but Dalmacio Uxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ernesto Elodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golpes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Elodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Uxio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tablada AFC's Dalmacio Uxio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Tablada AFC from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Golpes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Velasco came free, but Leo Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Eneas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes Golpes FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cleto Ferman who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Artemio Velasco got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 81 minutes into the match. Ernesto Elodio struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Dalmacio Uxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golpes FC. 87 minutes into the match, Tablada AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Uxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Marz. Artemio Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Artemio Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Leo Igon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Uxio having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
