Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Escorpion FC's Matias Goiz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Huinganco FC's zone, Matias Goiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Bermudo came out of the goal and Matias Goiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Matias Goiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adan Bermudo was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Adan Bermudo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Goiz went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Saturnino Platon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hajo Vorbeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Bermudo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Matias Goiz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adan Bermudo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baltasar Romo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Escorpion FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rene Viviano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Huinganco FC's zone, Higinio Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Bermudo came out of the goal and Higinio Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the game, Matias Goiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adan Bermudo. Matias Goiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Escorpion FC's Matias Goiz got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Baltasar Romo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Albino Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huinganco FC's Adan Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Nayely in the 70th minute of play. Huinganco FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gaudencio Nayely 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. In the 85th minute, Matias Goiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adan Bermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Errapel in the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Matias Goiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Adan Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Huinganco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Escorpion FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
