Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgilio Duardo started the match with the kick off. Suriyaco AFC's Severino Nerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Suriyaco AFC from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Jordy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Orti having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Cóndor got a freekick which was hit by Candido Montay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Argenis in the 16th minute of play forced Suriyaco AFC's goalkeeper Severino Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Suriyaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Duardo. Virgilio Duardo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Suriyaco AFC's zone, Gervasio Argenis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Nerio came out of the goal and Gervasio Argenis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Suriyaco AFC's Severino Nerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Suriyaco AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Cóndor booed when Suriyaco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gervasio Argenis came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cóndor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Argenis couldn't finish the play. Julio Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Baldomero Jordy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Argenis was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Suriyaco AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erasmo Etxeberri was slow to take the kick. During this time Cóndor's players had a chance to rest. Cóndor's Erasmo Etxeberri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Severino Nerio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Duardo in the 55th minute of play forced Cóndor's goalkeeper Alejandro Orti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cóndor's Julio Bordat got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Arnaldo Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Suriyaco AFC's Constantino Tallia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Candido Montay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Nerio having to make a save. The supporters of Suriyaco AFC booed when Cóndor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Argina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Duardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Nerio came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cóndor's Candido Montay. But to his dismay, Candido Montay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Virgilio Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alejandro Orti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Gaitan during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domingo Gaitan hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Erasmo Etxeberri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
