Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Igor Heriberto made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Haroldo Ipar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 8 played minutes Igor Heriberto rounded Malota FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. When Igor Heriberto came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Medanito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Heriberto couldn't finish the play. Medanito's Americo Abalos got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Marquez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Americo Abalos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 20 minute of play. Daniel Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Ipar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Ramos having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Haroldo Ipar notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Medanito's Daniel Ramos. Daniel Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Americo Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Americo Abalos in the 32nd minute. Malota FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Igor Heriberto scored to the left of an out of position Gerardo Marquez, making the score, 4-2. A collision led to Medanito getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Igor Heriberto hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.
After having played for 53 minutes, Igor Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medanito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Heriberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Abalos in the 55th minute of play forced Malota FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Cristobal Beremundo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Daniel Ramos threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Cristobal Beremundo this time. After 72 minutes, Bonifacio Daunte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medanito and the Malota FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Medanito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Daunte to maneuver through the defense. Medanito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Ipar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Igor Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Abalos in the 84th minute of play. Gerardo Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Eduardo Eguntsenti made a precise shot to the right of Gerardo Marquez. Malota FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. A hard shot by Prospero Frisco from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Daniel Ramos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 93 played minutes Malota FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Obano. If Americo Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Medanito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
