After 4 played minutes Malota FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Rafe. Malota FC's Gerardo Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Natal in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Andrade's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Guillem came free, but Amancio Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ulises Theobald put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gerardo Marquez. Amancio Olivar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Guillem in the 17th minute. Andrade's Amancio Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Ipar in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Malota FC booed when Andrade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Ipar in the 31st minute of play forced Andrade's goalkeeper Amancio Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Olivar having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Malota FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Natal came free, but Gerardo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Natal in the 47th minute of play.

Amancio Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Guillem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ulises Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Marquez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Malota FC's Modesto Obano got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Silvio Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Theobald struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Gerardo Marquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andrade. After having played for 66 minutes, Silvio Natal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andrade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Natal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Guillem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Amancio Olivar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Andrade's Silvio Natal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Marquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.
