Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adriana Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Rameriz in the 26th minute of the match. Roberto Salomon made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Vinicio Abella sent off a good shot on target. If Roberto Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Vinicio Abella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Rameriz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Rameriz in the 52nd minute of play forced López's goalkeeper Adriana Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Averías booed when López was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Chago didn't get a good kick on the ball. López's Adriana Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Rameriz in the 70th minute of play. Zacarias Rameriz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 73 played minutes López got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Roldan. After a defensive mix-up in López's zone, Maximiliano Clodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriana Bidari came out of the goal and Maximiliano Clodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Zacarias Rameriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Maximiliano Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Averías's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Clodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, López's Roberto Tiniebra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Salomon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. López's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
